BTTN’s capacity building tour to Karachi took place between November 7-14, 2021. On November 7, members from the BTTN and CISSS Faculties of Research held a joint conference at Suffa University DHA, Karachi., Dr. Lubna Kidwai delivered a talk on Epistemic Beliefs and Perspectives. While Advisor NCA, Lt. General Khalid Ahmed Kidwai (R) graced the occasion as the chief guest.

Consultant BTTN, Brig Agha Ahmad Gul ® delivered a talk on the geo-historic perspective of Balochistan. He also explained the concept of ‘three Balochistans’ which have existed in the geographical boundaries of the present Balochistan and how the contemporary Balochistan has evolved through the history. The Research Officers from BTTN Mr. Aadersh Hamza Malghani and Mr. Sikandar Azam Khan gave a detailed presentation on the research work done by BTTN on the topic of “US Withdrawal from Afghanistan and policy recommendations for Pakistan”. As part of the study tour and capacity building program, BTTN’s Faculty of Research also visited KANUPP-2, SUPARCO, PAF Museum, Naval Museum and Mazar-e Quaid. While dinners and recreational outings to various locations were also held on the sidelines of the visit.
