Dr. Zafar Khan, Executive Director, BTTN was invited to participate in the Moscow Nonproliferation Conference (MNC) 2024 organized by the Center for Energy and Security Studies (CENESS) with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. 200 plus delegates and subject experts were invited on nuclear issues from 40 countries. The 2024 MNC commenced in the evening of April 18 with the opening reception, hosted by the co-chairs of the Conference – Anton V. Khlopkov and Elena Chernenko. MNC 2024 comprised of a number of plenary sessions related to the nuclear nonproliferation issues held on April 19 and April 20, subsequently. Dr. Zafar in delegation also visited some of the leading think tanks in Moscow focusing on the research areas of common interest.
