Balochistan Think Tank Network (BTTN), Quetta Development Mahaz (Quetta Development Front) and Majlis Fiqr-O-Danish (Center of Research and Knowledge) jointly conducted a Seminar on the Theme of “Quetta Master Plan” on February 28th, 2023. The speakers from BTTN, Quetta Development Mahaz (QDM), and Maj¬lis Fiqr o’ Danish (MFD) shared their views, on challenges, ground realities, and the way forward for the need for a Master Plan for Quetta city. The master plan seeks to create a sustainable and inclusive city that is responsive to the needs and aspirations of its people, while also promoting economic growth and environmental stewardship. The master plan takes into account the city’s unique challenges and opportunities, including its rapidly expanding population, its transportation needs, and its vulnerability to natural disasters. We believe that this seminar is an important milestone toward developing a comprehensive master plan for Quetta city and its development, and we are committed to working together to make it a reality. BTTN is committed to creating a more sustainable, equitable, and prosperous Quetta for generations to come.
