Already a Reviewer?

Thank you for your valuable contribution to the peer review process of the BTTN Journal. Your expertise plays a critical role in maintaining the journal’s high standards of academic excellence.

The following guidelines are provided to support you in conducting a fair, constructive, and high-quality review:

Review Overview

  • The manuscript aligns with your area of expertise. If you can review only specific sections, please indicate this.
  • You have no conflict of interest (personal, institutional, or financial). If any exists, inform the editor immediately.
  • You can complete the review within the specified deadline (typically 3–5 hours of work). Contact the editor if more time is required.

Ethical Considerations

  • Treat the manuscript as confidential; do not share, store, or discuss it externally.
  • If you suspect plagiarism or ethical misconduct, report it to the editor with supporting evidence.
  • Maintain anonymity throughout the review process. Remove personal identifiers from your comments or file properties.

Writing an Effective Review

  • Provide constructive and respectful feedback aimed at helping authors improve their work.
  • Number your comments and refer to line numbers or sections for clarity.
  • Highlight both strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Suggest additional references or clarifications where appropriate.
  • Avoid using AI tools to process or generate content for reviews that contain confidential manuscript material.

When Submitting Your Review

When uploading your review, you will be asked to provide:

  • A recommendation (Accept / Minor Revision / Major Revision / Reject)
  • Comments for the Author(s) and optionally, Confidential Comments for the Editor

Your feedback should reflect your genuine scholarly assessment, supported by clear reasoning and constructive suggestions.

The Review Process

Some sections of the review form may not apply to all manuscript types (e.g., case studies or review papers). Please mark any non-relevant questions as “N/A.”

We deeply appreciate your time, expertise, and commitment to supporting high-quality research through the BTTN Journal peer review process.
